Aquarium plants or other plastic plants are a cheap and quick way to make trees, foliage, jungle or alien vegetation. Just base them! They’re durable and can be primed before painting so long as they’re not flexed too much. Make random cuts in them, glue on other flexible parts or combine them to make them look more fantasy-like and original. Also try a wider colour palette beyond greens and browns.
